🚨IMPORTANT YEARBOOK PICKUP INFO🚨
Yearbooks have been delivered, and we are ready for LAST YEARS GRADUATES to come pick theirs up. Our former graduates can come pick up their yearbook Wednesday between 9:00am-1:00pm and on Thursday between 3:00-5:00pm. Pickup will be in the cafeteria.
All current BHS students will receive their yearbooks during their lunchtime Thursday and Friday!
Reminders for Freshman Orientation tomorrow:

🚨 Attire is a spirit shirt and appropriate length bottoms. (No crop tops or tank tops)
🚨 Drop off will be in the student parking lot. You will drive to the dead end of Fairburn Ave and take the left and the road will take you to the student parking lot.

Due to some changes in the State with Drivers Ed, we will have to delay our Drivers Ed sign up until further notice. We will send out more information in a few weeks.
Bossier Schools has revised its cell phone policy in response to a new state law that restricts students from using cell phones and other electronic devices during the instructional day. Please note the following revisions:
Cell phones must be turned off and stowed during instructional time, including from the time students get on/off the bus or in/out of a personal vehicle while on campus;
Electronic communication devices, including but not limited to personal computers, laptops, electronic instruments, iPads, iPods, tablet devices, e-readers or similar devices, must be powered off and properly stowed for the duration of the school day.
Each violation will result in the collection of the cell phone/electronic device. More information regarding disciplinary action can be found in school handbooks.
*Please note the revised policy does not apply to students who have an Individualized Education Program (IEP)/Individualized Accommodation Plan (IAP), Section 504 plan or Individualized Health Plan that requires use of an electronic telecommunication device.
BHS is selling game day shirt packs again this year!

10-12 Grade Back to School night will be Monday August 5th from 4:00-5:30pm. This is a come and go event!
**Freshman will have orientation that morning and will have the opportunity to walk their schedule and see the campus then.

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce will be holding their annual 'Pack the Bus' school supply drive benefiting Bossier Schools. We hope you'll help out with this year's event! Come by the Wal-Mart Supercenter Thursday, August 1 from 11:30 to 1:30 and drop off much needed supplies to help our teachers fill the gaps in their classrooms.

**ALL STUDENTS (NEW & RETURNING) MUST COMPLETE ANNUAL REGISTRATION**
Please make sure if you have a returning student that you complete the annual registration in OnCourse. Also, please remember to upload the correct proofs of residency per the parish guidelines (see below)
Two Proofs of Residence with your name, address, and date :
One (1) current utility bill showing the physical address for service within the District; AND
One (1) of the following that shows the location of residence within the District:
Property tax records; or
Mortgage documents or property deed; or
Apartment or home lease or, if no lease, a Declaration of Residency Form (forms are available at each school site and must be completed in person)
If the student resides with a legal guardian (court-appointed) the court decree must be provided.
Oasis Spirit Order pick up will begin tomorrow!! If you placed an order with Oasis BEFORE July 10th, you may come by the front office and pick up your order between the hours of 9:00am-1:30pm.
