🍎 Retrired Teacher Association Scholarship Opportunity🍏
Bossier Parish Retired Teacher Association awards scholarships annually to Bossier Parish high school graduating seniors. The scholarship applicants should be interested in entering the teaching profession and plan to attend a Louisiana college majoring in Education. Applicants must submit an essay on why they desire to go into teaching, in addition to two letters of recommendation from non-family members.
The application can be found in the BHS Class of 2026 Google Classroom. Completed applications will need to be submitted to Ms. Abernathy via email by Monday, April 6.

✏️ ACT Testing Day at Benton High School ✏️
ACT testing will take place on Tuesday, March 24th.
✅ Who is testing?
ALL Sophomores, ALL juniors, and select seniors will be on campus taking the ACT.
🏠 Who stays home?
ALL freshmen and senior non-testers will have a virtual learning day at home.
Make sure to get a good night’s rest, be on time, and come prepared to do your best.
