What started as a simple idea to refresh a faded mural became something much more meaningful! We saw an opportunity to create a space that reflects not only our pride in Cope Middle, but also the heart of our community. With our strong connection to Barksdale Air Force Base and the many military-connected students we serve, the new mural on the Hero Wall was a natural extension of our Heroes Garden, planted in 2023. Together, they tell a story of school pride, community, and gratitude for those who serve. Special thanks and recognition to the Artistic Shark, Chris Opp, for bringing this idea to life. Please take a moment to drive by and take a look; it is absolutely stunning! 💙🇺🇸💙 At Cope Middle School, everything matters! 💙🐾🧡 #theCopeDifference #BossierSchools #EverythingMatters

Back to School night is Tuesday. Come meet the teachers and get an overview of classroom expectations and learning. Don't forget to sign up to be part of the PTO team. We can't do what we do, without all the continued support from our parents!

A smiling girl and boy in a school cafeteria with wording that it is lunch money check-intime
I had the most fun walking through and getting a glimpse of Mrs. Alexander's lesson on how our right and left brains work to think through ELA content. So much laughter and teamwork! So thankful you've joined our team!!

Mrs. Vance's seventh grades students did a fun scavenger hunt today where they had to find all the different resources available to them in the classroom, and then stamped each item on their worksheet. It was a great way for students to learn where needed items are and get up and move!
