♥️Tomorrow starts Red Ribbon Week at Cope! ♥️
Please read the graphic to ensure what items are allowed each day. Students who are not in proper dress code will have to call parents for proper attire or serve the appropriate consequence. We want this to be a fun week while continuing to meet school expectations!

🎶🎵ONLY 5 DAYS LEFT to prepare for 6th grade 50's day!!! 🎶🎵
6th grade is ROCKIN' & ROLLIN' into the 50th day of middle school at Cope on Monday, November 2nd! We're celebrating with a Sock Hop in the gym, a few old school activity rotations, soda shop floats after lunch, some extra sweet time in every class, and cool cat outfits. All donated items are designed to be shared across the entire grade level for equal participation for this grade level event.
Parents may drop donations off in the office or donations can be mailed directly to Cope (Attn: Mary Coleman Smith) before or by no later than Thursday, October 29th by 2pm in order to plan for our cool cat event. All donations delivered by students should go to the office (not homeroom teachers). Volunteers are asked to help decorate on Sunday afternoon, November 1st from 2-4pm.

‼️Our CMS 6th grade girls' cross country team earned 3rd place today in the Louisiana State Games in Monroe! Way to go,
Cougars!! We are SO proud of you! Also a special shout-out to Mrs. Woodall and Dr. Szewczyk for your time with our athletes!
The CMS gym was the place to be tonight for Mr. Rabon's Beginning Band Friends and Family Night!! It was a HUGE turnout with so many people present to support, take pictures, and see exactly what it takes to make music! Thank you to everyone who made this night a success!
Today after school at CMS, GamersXP came out to our campus with gifts and is teaching Pokémon to our students. Pokémon is one of the most popular trading card games in the world. Students also are going home with a small deck of cards to call their own courtesy of GamersXP. Table Top Games Club is the place to be!

Today at CMS Mrs. Vance's 7th grade science classes modeled the organs of the digestive system to help understand how nutrients move from the digestive system to the circulatory system to get to the cells. Hands-on learning equals life long memories!

🏀CMS BOYS' BASKETBALL TRY OUT INFO:
‼️Try-outs are at the Cope Gym. Each participant must have an athletic form completed and turned in. Bring appropriate clothes, shoes, and bottled water. Only 7th and 8th grade boys may try-out.
