Here are CMS rosters for the scrimmages tonight. This is an unofficial list, but we thought it may be helpful to know who's who on the field tonight.

Cope Middle football scrimmage start time HAS CHANGED for this evening!!! Due to district guidelines and protocols associated with extreme temperatures, our 7th and 8th grade scrimmage against Keithville will begin at 7:00pm at Airline High School. $5 admission for all attendees.
Also, please know that this is not a full football game. Please review the attached format of the scrimmages for this evening. 7th and 8th grade teams will alternate playing 10 offensive plays, 10 defensive plays, 10 plays from specific yardage, and then a six minute playtime. Concessions will be sold, officals will be present, and we are using this scrimmage for our student athletes to acclimate to the heat, understand game logistics, and meet the expectations of the game.
We hope you can jon us to cheer on our football teams!

Last Friday some of our 8th grades were able to check out our first AR books of the year and spend some time "popping" open a good book and popsicle!

STARBASE still has openings in our 6th Grade AND 7th Grade STARBASE Louisiana Advanced Programs at Cope Middle School!
Students will explore STEM through hands-on challenges, exciting projects, teamwork, and real-world problem solving—all while having fun and building new skills.

THURSDAY is NEON day to support our volleyball teams' home games at Cope. Students can wear neon tops and accessories, but must have uniform bottoms. We are ready to see your school spirit!
