Our 2024 Cope Middle School wrestling season is a wrestling opportunity available for all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys and girls. Our inaugural 2023 season was a fantastic success, and we are looking forward to building and improving our program at Cope. Viking Wrestling Club practices will begin on October 15th for OUR students to start their journey. The $60/month club fee will be waived for Cope Cougar wrestlers, but there is a one-time $60 USA Wrestling card fee. This fee will be paid to Coach Ernie or Coach Larkins at Airline High School girls gym Tuesday/Thursday 6:00-7:30. See Coach Sellers at school with any further questions. You are able to begin Viking Wrestling practices now. We hope to see you on the mat soon!

CMS 7th grade Social Development luncheon and dance was Friday, October 4th. The luncheon was at the Bossier Parish Sheriff Training Academy. Our students dressed in more formal attire for the event. This is an interdisciplinary unit so some form of etiquette is taught in all classes during the week. A folder of pictures will be added; I can only add 10. ELA - Thank you notes, positive/kind words Math - Table etiquette/setting Science - Hygiene Social Studies - Flag etiquette and email etiquette PE - Dancing MANY, many thanks to the teachers and parent volunteers who teamed together to make this a great experience and memories for our 7th graders!!!
