
CMS Candy Cane Fundraiser is tomorrow - December 12. Let's spread that holiday cheer!


CMS 6th grade Bowling Field Trip money ($20) and permission slip is due Wednesday, Dec 4 for those who wish to attend and who qualify. The field trip is Tuesday, December 10. This price includes busses to the bowling alley, 2 hours of bowling, an arcade play card, and pizza, chips, cookie and a drink for lunch.

The Louisiana Bandmaster’s Association announced placements for the 1st ever Middle School All-State Band. Cope advanced 7 student’s auditions and placed 4 students in the All State Band! Congratulations to Noah Harkins and Charli Hays for placing 6th and 7th in the state on trumpet, Lydia Conrad for placing 6th in the state on French horn, and Brayden Pascoe: 1ST CHAIR IN THE STATE ON CONTRA ALTO CLARINET! These students will attend the LMEA Convention in New Orleans in January to perform with the 1st ever Louisiana All-State Middle School Band! These students are leaders in the STATE! Congratulations; we are SUPER proud of you! Also, kudos to Mr. Kevin Rabon for directing, teaching, and guiding these students in their musical excellence!

Our CMS Special Olympics bowling trip was a HUGE success! Some our students even won ribbons for their efforts! Special cheers for faculty and staff who tagged along to help facilitate all of the fun!
