We wanted to remind everyone about our CMS Lunch shifts. This is our daily schedule. We occasionally have an activity schedule on Friday that will differ slightly. Please check out our website for the activity schedule lunch shift times. The lunch shifts are highlighted in a different color. If you drop off money or lunch, please drop it off BEFORE your student's lunch shift.

CMS parents, our 8th grade football team is looking for help collecting throws for the AHS homecoming parade. Can you help us out? Mardi Gras beads, small plush stuffed animals, cups, etc.......

Students and families are welcome to share staff appreciation notes, emails, app communication, or posts on social media to the BEST of the BUNCH at Cope!

CMS 8th grade students and parents: our 8th grade science classes will be making models to demonstrate Plate Motion after fall break use by edible items. We need your help gathering those items so that all 8th grades can learn while using their hands! Items are due October 17. Items may be dropped off in the CMS front office, simply let the office staff know who the 8th grade science teacher is! While some of us were resting during fall break, one of our very own Cope Cougars Marceline Metoyer (7th grader) was busy working, creating, and running her business. She represented Star Creations at the Waskom, Texas Vintage Flea Market, a kid market! She worked really hard and represented her brand well! Star Creations is her handmade jewelry and accessories business. WOW! Excellent job, Marceline! We are proud of you and your efforts! Thank you for working to shine the COPE DIFFERENCE! Keep being GREAT!

Cope Middle celebrates WIN the DAY Wednesday recognizing the total awesomeness of 6th grader Olivia Todd. She was able to "rock out" at a performance at the Revel on Sunday. She has the act and the look down perfectly! Keep being great, Olivia! You are making the Cope Difference!

AN APPLE FOR THE TEACHER hits different this time of the year! Any donations to help make our apple themed day would help show our entire staff at Cope that we're the APPLE OF YOUR EYE. Our plans for sliced apples, various toppings, warm spiced cider, and carmel apple K-cup coffees with decorations will fill the air with FALL even if the Louisiana weather thinks it's still summer! Our 6th grade classes had a GREAT time today at the bowling alley field trip. The sole purpose was to experience Newton's Laws of Motion in action in "real-life" and they also got to have fun, socialize, and play games! More pictures will be posted in the comments of our Facebook page. We can only have 10 posted on the app at one time!
